Almost flattened this one before ornithology class last week. I was completely surprised to find him nested down on the great camouflaged expanse of the science building parking lot. When someone pulled into the spot next to me not only I was extremely annoyed but disappointed because I only managed to get a few shots before the bird flew away with an indignant squawk.
